// 01 — About

Five years of shipping Android with clean architecture, a security-first mindset, and codebases built to outlive the sprint.

I am a self-taught programmer with a deep passion for technology and problem-solving. I have over five years of professional Android and mobile development experience. With a strong foundation in software engineering, I focus on building intuitive, high-performance applications while continuously refining my skills.

I thrive in fast-paced environments, adapting to new challenges and staying ahead of technological advancements. My dedication to innovation and excellence drives me to optimize performance, enhance security, and streamline system architecture.

Beyond Android, I have taken courses in front-end web development, back-end development, DevOps, and machine learning. That range lets me bring a holistic perspective to a project rather than only a mobile one.

PT Privy Identitas Digital

Android Engineer

I specialize in building an SDK for liveness detection. Within two months I refactored and cleaned up the codebase — fixing memory leaks, improving performance, and making it maintainable. Since then my focus has been hardening its security, optimizing it, and making it straightforward for other teams to integrate.

Built PrivyChat, an in-app chat feature, from scratch

Migrated OCR from ML Kit to OpenCV, reducing the app's size and improving card detection

Implemented security improvements that prevent deepfake injection attempts, hardening the system against fraud and abuse

Reworked the SDK's public API so consuming teams can integrate it with less setup

Work daily with single-activity architecture, face detection, CameraX, and WebSocket integration

Ideku Technology Solution Pte Ltd

Android Developer

For a year and a half I was the sole Android developer. I taught myself clean architecture from communities, articles, and the Android documentation, then refactored the codebase repeatedly until the architecture fit the product. When an experienced Android developer joined, we decided together to extract a shared library and formalize our practices.

Integrated the app with multiple models of thermal printer

Designed the system architecture and developed a POS application

Built a shared library so all company products could be maintained from one place

Monitored system performance, fixed bugs, and tracked stability across platform versions

Bali Gatra

Junior Android Developer

My first professional role, starting on native Android. When a Flutter project appeared I volunteered, learned it quickly, and became an active contributor. I proposed and led improvements to project management, QA, and CI/CD.

Responsible for mobile app development in Flutter

Maintained and built new features for an Android app in Java

Ran quality control and testing across all website and mobile projects before client handover

// 03 — Selected work

01 · Android Library · Kotlin

Simple Socket

I built the Simple Socket Android Library to solve a communication problem at my company: several apps on different devices needed to talk to each other over peer-to-peer socket connections. It taught me Maven publishing and how to design an Android library others have to live with.

02 · Flutter

Convert Pulsay

An app for converting SIM card credit into money. I took it through a full overhaul from native Android to Flutter — a rewrite and redesign of a friend's app, end to end.

Otobagus screenshot

03 · Flutter

Otobagus

Built with anakaiti.id: a platform that handles the full range of showroom transactions — auctioning, buying, selling, and pawning — in one app.

Tradisi Pencak Silat screenshot

04 · Flutter

Tradisi Pencak Silat

Flutter mobile development with anakaiti.id for a Wikipedia-style platform dedicated to Pencak Silat, the Indonesian martial art. The goal was promoting it nationally and recording its cultural significance.

05 · Flutter · Strapi · React

Crowdcycle

A platform connecting businesses, non-profits, causes, and individuals in a cycle of giving and receiving. I added features and maintained the server, working across the Flutter app, the Strapi back end, and the dashboard front end.

06 · Kotlin · Android Native

Image To Text

A native Android app that turns images into editable text. I integrated third-party image processing and text recognition to automate the extraction accurately.

07 · C++ · CMake

Huffman Coding Data Compression

A university lab project on tree data structures. I implemented the Huffman Coding algorithm for data compression in C++, compiled with CMake.
